AirSial is the third private airline of Pakistan launched by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry. It’s headquartered in Sialkot – an important industrial zone of Pakistan – while its secondary station is Jinnah International Airport.
SialAir got registration three years ago after having a license from Civil Aviation Authority. Its estimated expense is twenty million dollars that are equal to about two billion PKR. It will initially use the Airbus A320-200s that were leased from AerCap in Dublin – the largest independent aircraft leasing company in the world.
AirSial was expected to launch flight operations in the mid of 2020, but it had been delayed due to Covid-19 and restrictions on air travel. The airline formally had been inaugurated on December 9 by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Then it has successfully operated the Attesting Flight PF-1786 on 19th December 2020 from Karachi to Islamabad. Now the airline has completed all of its regulatory requirements and is all set to launch its first official flight on Friday, 25th December 2020.
